The following sketches show how at this stage I want the books to look including front&back covers and the spine. One of the things that came up while sketching these layouts was that I thought it would be a good idea to display the information front and back horizontally (ie. the bog standard display of text on the spine of a book). The reason behind this would be that the viewer would have to interact with the book turn it around and flip it in order to read it. Also I discovered my idea is very similar to the actual faber finds collection so it could be a way of further developing the designs faber and faber currently use.
