It took me a while to work out how to kern each book cover title. The problem I was having was that each letter was designed to fit within a section of grid and spaced by one vertical line. Some letters overlapped while others looked like they were spaced far away, case in point the letter 'E' in 'the' below. I tried to counter act this by merging the letters together in order to make it readable/legible.
